This is a three-week course in HOT (Higher-order thinking) and Literacy for a group of teachers sent by the Ministry Of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia.
They were exposed to Problem Solving Thinking-based learning (TBL) and Thinking-Routines so that they could infuse or integrate HOT such as critical and creative thinking into content instructions. They were first taught the various HOT skills before guiding them on Problem Solving, TBL and Thinking-Routines. Beside they were also guided on how to infuse Habits of Mind(Art Costa ) and basic philosophy into all the three pedagogical knowledge. They were lots of group discussion and presentation and they were happy with the knowledge acquired from our team of scholars from Center For Teaching Thinking And Innovation (CenT-TI) at UMCCed (University of Malaya Center For Continuing Education)
